For Sale Irish Frost (Irish) is a 7 year old, 16hh unraced thoroughbred mare by Frost Giant. Irish is currently working on basic flatwork and has been started over small fences in the arena and out in the cross country field. She is very sensible, but a sensitive type who appreciates a soft, educated rider. She has three good gaits with a particularly nice, balanced canter. She’s proven to be very bold over fences with good footwork and a nice jump. She’s jumped all the small fillers in the arena and schooled small stuff out in the field (including the bank and ditch) and seems game for whatever. She’s been out trail riding regularly on her own and with a group and is not spooky. Irish is an excellent type for sport, with a compact, uphill build. She has clean legs and good feet with no history of health or soundness issues. She is an exciting prospect for a good riding AA/junior or pro to bring along and is sure to excel in an eventing or hunter/jumper career.
Priced at $6500, subject to change.

For Sale Aztec is a 9 year old, 15.2hh Appaloosa/Draft/TB cross gelding. He is green under saddle, but honest and straightforward. He has three comfortable gaits with good natural balance. Aztec has been lightly started over small fences and is green, but totally game. He schooled some small stuff out in the XC field late this fall, including the bank and ditch, and was very brave and rideable out in the open. He’s been out trail riding on his own and with a group and is not spooky. Aztec has spent most of his life in inconsistent work and is now coming along quickly with a consistent program. He has an excellent mind and willing temperament. He does have his own motor, and is just learning, so would do best with an educated rider, or someone working with a trainer. That being said he is straightforward with no silly stuff or naughty habits so absolutely could be brought along by an AA or junior. Hs is sweet in the barn and thoroughly enjoys attention. Typically he is easy to work around, but can be quite pushy at times, so would do best with a capable and confident handler who will set boundaries. He is improving with consistent ground work and is never mean or unsafe. Aztec is healthy and sound with no vices. He is a lovely boy with potential to excel in a number of directions.
Priced at $9k, subject to change.

For Sale Chimera (Chai) is a 5 year old, 16.1hh thoroughbred mare by Shackleford. Chai is a leggy, athletic type with three good gaits and a lovely temperament. Chai is currently going nicely on the flat w/t/c, and has been introduced to small fences in the arena and out in the XC field. She has three good gaits and has proven to be brave and willing over fences. Chai did quite a bit of trail riding this fall and was confident and quiet going out on her own or with a group. Chai is a sensible girl but still young and green, so would be best suited for a capable and confident rider. She is very sweet and easy to work around on the ground. Chai has no vices or history of health/soundness issues.

For Sale, Located in Shaftsbury, VT. Sharpie (JC: Mahone) is a 7 year old, 15.3hh unraced thoroughbred gelding. He has a good base on the flat with three nice gaits. He’s been in a dressage home since track training, so has not yet been started over fences, but has potential to do so. He was introduced to XC fences on the line and showed a cute jump and willing attitude. He’s very sweet and a quiet, easy going guy under saddle. Sharpie is currently in inconsistent work, due to owners lack of time, and really would benefit from being back in a consistent program. He was trail ridden all summer and is great out and about. He would do best with a confident rider as he can get stuck behind the leg and needs someone confident enough to send him forward. Once he’s gets going he’s very pleasant and willing. This should work out with consistent work and he would be an easy project for a good riding junior or AA. Sharpie is healthy and sound with no vices or limitations.

Leased W.P. Traveling Lane (Laney) is an 8-year-old, 14.1h registered spotted haflinger mare. She’s a true all around type, with a well-rounded base and potential to excel in a number of directions. Laney has a solid base on the flat w/t/c and is bolding jumping around small courses in the arena and out in the cross-country field. She has three good gaits and potential to be cute on the flat when things come together. Over fences, while green, she is a true point and shoot type. She’s schooled banks, ditches, and water out in the field, all of which she did bravely from the get go. She’s also an excellent trail horse. Laney is not at all spooky and happy to march along over any terrain. She goes out nicely on her own or with a group and doesn’t mind leading or following. In the barn Laney is sweet and loves attention. She stands nicely on the cross ties for grooming and tacking up, bathes, and loads easily. Laney is a hardy girl and very easy keeper. She’s good in a stall or happy living out 24/7 and gets along well with anyone in turnout. Laney would be a fun prospect for a good riding kid or is plenty big bodied for an adult. She is safe with absolutely no buck or rear. That being said she is forward thinking and can be strong so will need someone capable and confident. Laney has gone hunter pacing and loved it. We could see her being a blast in the hunt field or making up to be a nice event pony, but she does have potential to go in any direction. Laney has no health/soundness issues or vices.

SOLD Harry is a 9-year-old, 16.3h Hanoverian gelding. He has three quality gaits and a good jump with potential to excel in dressage, hunter/jumpers, or eventing. Harry is a kind, easygoing guy with a sweet nature. He is typically a quiet, straightforward ride on the flat. Over fences he is green but willing with plenty of scope. He’s currently jumping around 2’9”-3’ courses with room to move up. Harry does have his changes, but they need some work. He’s been schooled out in the XC field and trail rides quietly on his own or with a group. Harry does have a fabulous temperament, but can be quirky, so is best suited for a capable/confident rider. Harry has excellent ground manners in all aspects. He’s an angel for the vet and farrier, bathes, clips, loads easily etc… He is an easy keeper with no vices or health/soundness issues.
