For Sale Vestermarkens Fashion is an eye catching 2017, 17.2hh imported Danish Warmblood gelding. Fashion is by the young stallion First Ampere (Ampere) out of Rocha, by Blue Hors Hertug. Fashion was imported from Denmark as a weanling and was given plenty of time to grow and mature before being started under saddle September 2020. He has been one of the easiest horses to start under saddle, with an excellent temperament and willingness to learn. Despite his massive size Fashion is light with excellent balanced. He has three comfortable, rhythmic gaits and naturally seeks a steady contact. Fashion has had a solid start in the arena w/t/c and has been regularly trail ridden on his own and with a group. Fashion is a quiet guy, while still being nicely in front of the aids with an excellent work ethic. He has the right temperament to be brought along by an AA or junior working with a professional or would be an exciting young horse for a professional looking for something talented while still having an excellent mind.

Harry is a 9-year-old, 16.3h branded Hanoverian gelding. He has three quality gaits and a good jump with potential to excel in dressage, hunter/jumpers, or eventing. Harry is a kind, easygoing guy with a sweet nature. He is typically a quiet, easy ride on the flat. Over fences he is green but willing with plenty of scope. He’s currently jumping around 2’6” ish courses and should progress quickly in a consistent program. Harry has his changes, and they could easily become auto with a bit more work. He’s been schooled out in the XC field and trail rides quietly on his own and with a group. Harry does have a fabulous temperament, but is also a quirky boy who is best suited for a capable/confident AA/junior or pro. He will not be a safe mount for a timid or nervous rider. He can get nervous at the mounting block, or with any sudden movement over his back/withers. Things like tightening the girth while mounted, removing a jacket, grabbing something off the fence, or the rider moving around a lot will get him tense and need to be done with caution. He is improving with regular work addressing these issues, and they should work out to some degree with continued work, but at this point are something to consider. Besides his quirky tendencies he is a lovely guy. He has plenty of quality to be made into something special under saddle and is sweet and pleasant to have in the barn. Harry has excellent ground manners in all aspects. He’s an angel for the vet and farrier, bathes, clips, loads easily etc… He is an easy keeper with no vices or health soundness issues. He will pass a PPE and requires no maintenance.
Priced at $9500, negotiable to the right match.
